Berlin's Spring Celebration will be April 3, 2010 and includes Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, an Easter bonnet contest, egg hunt, pets on parade in spring finery, music and even a pig race proceeded by a hog calling contest for the kids. At A Novel Idea we will have the pleasure of hosting two children's books authors: Laura M. Smith and Sylvia Lawson, both of Salisbury. Mrs. Lawson will reading from her book, signing books and meeting with readers from 10-2 and Ms. Smith will be doing the same from 1-5.
2cd Friday Art Stroll Night on April 9, 2010 we will be hosting author, Vince Gisrael, Jr. from 5-9 pm. Vince has created a lovely memoir of World War II based on the love letters between his dad who was a bomber in the European theater and his mom who like so many kept the homefires burning.
